We couldn't find rack like this in stores, for some reason they only sell crappy wooden ones that break easily. This one is very sturdy and can fit a lot of clothes to dry, it's also easy to fold it and store when it's not used. I could fit almost 2 loads of whashing on it at once!

Whitmor Folding Clothes Drying Rack, White Review

This rack is well made and sturdy. I usually set it up outside,weather permitting, to hang towels and washcloths on after bathing. This allows them to dry quickly and stay fresh.

I secure Panacea Products Corp. Marbles 100ct Bag Red to the bottom of each leg with a ponytail holder. This prevents a breeze from catching the towels/clothes and blowing the rack over. I came up with this solution after I found it laying on the ground several times. The marbles solved the problem. When the mesh bags the marbles are in starts to wear out just replace with inexpensive knee high hose.

For storing the rack folds flat and I just stand it against the wall at the back of the closet.

Another great solution for the fulltime Rver. Also would work well in dorm rooms and apartments.

Household Essentials 5003 Wall Mount Telescoping Indoor Drying Rack Review

The drywall anchors included with the rack are insufficient for a sturdy mount. Further, the mounting brackets are 30" on center, not 32", which would make for solid mounting directly into wall studs. However, with one bracket mounted to a stud, and the other bracket secured with (not-supplied) toggle bolts (the ones that spring out on the other side of the drywall and are then drawn tight by the bolt), the rack is then steady enough for heavy use.

Good rack, good price, but get two toggle bolts for mounting.

Honey-Can-Do Wooden Clothes Drying Rack Review

I am very happy with this drying rack.I bought three of them.Because I had a problem with one, the company sent me another one for free, no questions asked.That says a lot about the manufacturer.

Be sure to open the rack by pulling straight up from the middle, not the side.Maybe that's why a couple of the rungs broke.

Anyway, I haven't used my gas dryer in over a month.I have saved electricity and natural gas.Also, drying this way adds humidity to the air in my home, especially during the dry winter months.

I couldn't be happier with the manufacturer, and I am very happy with the drying rack too.Just pull up from the middle, and you will save a lot of money in natural gas and electricity.

I highly recommend this product.

We purchased 2 of these racks - sorry to say they won't hold an adult-size tee shirt without scrunching them to get them to fit.It's great for other undies, and to lay sweaters out on.I'm sorry I bought 2 - the picture is accurate - you have to fold a towel to fit on the rack - no way to get them to dry!Simply not suitable for laundry except a little incidental hand laundry.We do like the sturdiness and slim folded dimension.

Almost didn't purchase this, but decided to try it after reading the reviews.Much better than the wooden ones...sturdy and does not leave yellow marks from the wood discoloring on the clothing.There is enough space between the bars to hang larger items and enough bars to hang a load of clothing.We liked it enough to order another one.

Polder Two-Tier Free Standing Clothes Drying Rack with Mesh Garment Dryer Review

The pluses are that it is well made and came completely assembled and was reasonably priced.The big minus is that the metal bars that you hang the clothes on are so thin that they make creases in the clothes when they are dry.I wish the bars were thicker, I never had this problemw with other wooden clothes drying racks that I used.

Got this when I added a small "in unit" washer to my apt.I was looking for an efficient way to air dry more small items and this looked like it would fit the bill. I am very pleased with it.Great little device is easy to use, folds for storage, heavy duty and holds a lot more than I imagined.You can use it over a bathtub but since my washer spins out my clothes well, I use it on my tripod drying stand and I load it up.It can easily handle a week's worth of undies, bras, socks, nighties and I have even hung towels from it.As long as you balance the load, you will have no problem and the clip that opens--really nice feature for attaching to a rod.

I have had this drying rack for a few weeks and am absolutely loving it.It is large and sturdy.It easily holds 2-3 loads of laundry, and keeps items separated and not touching so that they dry faster.

The frame is tubular powdercoated steel (? aluminum?), about 1/2 inch in diameter and very sturdy.The "lines" are very heavy guage wire perhaps 3 mm in diameter; about the guage of a chain link fence or a bit heavier.

Total, there are about 45 "lines" (they'll overlap a bit depending on how you set it up), each 22 in wide.A mens medium or large shirt will fit unfolded, but not an extra large.You can also dry huge things like comforters and sheets by leaving the "wings" flat and draping the items across the top.

Pros:
-Versatility!The "wings" can be set up at a variety of heights, either horizontal or diagonal.Or, you can leave the wings down and have just an a-frame shape.
-Super sturdy.I hung 8 wet shirts on hangers from one end yesterday and it did not tip at all.My cat walked around on the top of it, too (of course), and it stayed very stable.
-It's huge!No other drying rack can come close to the size of this one.
-Lots of places to hang stuff.If you use every line you can hang 2-3 loads of wash, more if you hang some things on hangers.
-Easy to fold and unfold, no assembly required.It's about 4 in wide when closed.Fits easily in my tiny laundry closet next to the washer.

Cons:
-Price.It's reasonable but could be cheaper.
-It's pretty big, especially if you live in a small apartment with not much floor space.
-The wires will probably leave lines in your clothes, but that's true no matter how you line dry.

I can't think of any more cons!I'm very happy with this drying rack.
