We have a small laundry room so this rack was perfect. It expands out 21 inches from the wall when open and closes flat when not in use. The 40 inch width gives enough space to lay two sweaters on top to dry, while hanging other items beneath. The extra metal rod that runs along the back, comes with attachable hooks, and is perfect for hanging a few hangers from.
